A Project from the Heart
Children’s Light School – Nepal
When I, Kali Ma came to Nepal in 2001, one of my very first heartfelt projects was born: to make education accessible to children from the lowest castes, socially disadvantaged families, orphans, and children with disabilities.
Through sponsorships from people around the world, these children were given the opportunity to receive an education and, with it, new perspectives for their lives.
From this first seed, a preschool was established in 2011. Over the years, it grew into the Children’s Light School, which is now independently led by three young Nepalese women with love and a deep sense of personal responsibility.
Every child comes into this world carrying the light of love and their own unique gifts.
Whether at school, within the family, or in a loving community—wherever children are seen in their light, lovingly supported, and encouraged to be who they truly are, they can awaken to their true nature, unfold their unique gifts, and walk their own path through life with confidence and self-determination.
School as a place of the heart—where children learn with joy, experience a caring sense of community, and feel the interconnectedness of all life in their hearts.
In this way, they naturally grow into happy adults while remaining, in their true nature, children of the Light.
